I am thrilled and honoured to accept the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) William C. McRae Founder's Award today at BPC Orlando, the association's flagship conference and the world's largest annual gathering of bid and proposal professionals.

The APMP William C. McRae Founder's Award is a rare honour reserved for the most accomplished and distinguished APMP members. The award is in honour of William C. McRae, one of APMP’s founding members.
As APMP’s highest honour, it has been awarded only 12 times since the association was founded in 1989. Award recipients have demonstrated exceptional ability and quality to move the industry forward through their actions by:
Exhibiting unselfish leadership
Contributing significant hours of exceptional volunteerism
Mentoring others with their APMP Certification
Providing unique industry thought leadership
Putting the industry above their accomplishments
What makes this award especially meaningful for me isn’t just how rarely it’s given, but what it challenges bid and proposal professional to do next. Our profession isn't moving forward just through best practices or certifications alone, it's moving forward when experienced professionals and practitioners share freely what they’ve learned, take time to invest in others, and leave our profession in a better position than they found it.
I'll keep raising standards. I'll keep advocating for our profession. And I'll keep helping the next generation of bid and proposal professionals find their voice, their confidence, and their impact.
